Yeahhhhh
Sort of to the left, the taller white building, that is close to where I live
Today has been a nice day. Nikita and I had breakfast and left for school. We had to do our presentations today which I finally did finish last night! I almost died presenting though since I hadn't really memorized it. Heart attack was eminent. My heart was going a mile a minute and I was sweating buckets, good thing I forgot to wear deodorant, probably smelled like a llama! Afterwards I felt much better though. Nikita got a cold. =[ After class we went home and had chicken and rice for dinner. Also we had a drink made from purple corn and apples and a jello like pudding substance made of purple corn, it was kind of weird but tasted good. Nikita didn't want to go to Sacsayhuaman, so I ventured out on my own again. I had to run to the pick up spot though since I was late. Sacsayhuaman is a really cool ruin. It is insane how big the rocks are, I have no idea how they moved them and fit them so perfectly to each other. We got to go down a "slide" that was formed in the rock face. It was really fun, I love slides. This guy, Michael, ripped his pants trying to climb up to the slide. It was really funny! All these Peruvian girls cheered when he slide down the slide, it was ripped ALL the way up. haha We climbed to the top of the ruins and saw all of Cusco! I could see where my house would be! It was too short to actually see though. When we left I got to the house but Nikita and Carola had left to the market and I had no keys. I had to call up and my host brother buzzed me in but when I got to the top of the stairs the door was closed. I knocked and rang the doorbell but no one answered... Finally five minutes later Tula, my host abuela, answered. She asked me why I didn't have keys and I told her Nikita had them. I did some homework while waiting for Nikita to get back. When she did we went downstairs for tea and sweet fruit things that Carola made. They were good, I don't know what they were. I finally had a real conversation with Carola! Gold star for Marcia again, I am just doing so well. =] Now we are at the internet cafe having drinks and empenadas. Delicious.
